Loom Bands: Little Girl's Rainbow Bands Bracelet Apology Note

Loom bands are popular not just in playgrounds, but also among celebs including the Duchess of Cambridge and David Beckham.

So when one little girl got in trouble, she knew they were the perfect present for making amends - and the sweet gesture has made her an internet star.

When Reddit user pink_vicky told off a neighbour's child for pelting rocks at her door, she thought that was the end of the matter.

But the girl - called Ketsia - was filled with remorse at her actions and decided to make a grand gesture to apologise. So she set about making loom bands for pink_vicky, her husband and their baby boy.

Not feeling brave enough to apologise in person, Ketsia attached the bracelets to a note, which read:

"Dear parents of the little boy,

"I am truly sorry for throwing stones and rocks at your door. I was acting very stupid and after you told me off I heard a baby crying and I wasn't sure if it was your baby or not. I am really sorry, like really, really sorry and I hope you forgive me."

On the back of the note she added more lines of "'I'm really sorry, really, really sorry."

The impassioned plea worked and pink_vicky said: "'We posted a reply back through the hole in the fence this morning, saying we accepted her apology and thanked her for the bracelets."
