If there’s one thing Rihanna knows how to do, it’s get everyone talking with her provocative fashion choices and that's exactly what happened after her latest night out.
Celebrating the 4th of July in West Hollywood, RiRi was photographed leaving a party getting into the red, white and blue theme - or, at least, the red side of things - wearing a short, lace dress that showed off her pants underneath.

And when we say “dress”, we can’t be 100% sure that this outfit wasn’t originally designed as a nightie - it does look a little bit like Rihanna may have stepped out in this see-through number without realising it wasn’t actually intended to be worn outside of the bedroom, much like Jennifer Aniston’s character in one particularly embarrassing episode of ‘Friends’.

If her dress really was originally meant as a nightie, it looks like the singer might have realised her faux pas a little too late, as she was then seen wrapping herself in a coat as she walked by photographers.

That said, perhaps Rihanna was just been feeling the cold - that lace doesn’t look as if it would keep much heat in.
Of course, Rihanna is no stranger to a see-through gown, as last month the whole Internet was abuzz when she stepped out at the CFDA Fashion Awards wearing a completely see-through dress that showed off her...well, there wasn’t a great deal it didn’t show off, frankly.
Mind you, it wasn’t anything she hadn’t already showed off before - earlier this year she was forced to remove photos of her bare boobs from her Instagram page.
