iPhone 6 Video Shows Unbreakable Sapphire Screen

The iPhone 6 Screen Looks Virtually Bulletproof

A video has been uploaded showing a 'real' iPhone 6 sapphire screen being tested and honestly? It looks pretty incredible.

The video was uploaded by Marques Brownlee and shows him giving the reported sapphire screen a full test including stabbing it with a knife and trying to snap it under his foot.

Impressively, the screen shrugs off both these attempts and practically laughs in the face of some light key dragging as well.

As with any of these videos it's impossible to tell whether it's the real deal but whether that's the iPhone 6 screen or not, it's a ludicrously strong piece of material.

More importantly though this video seems to confirm that actually both the iPhone 6 4.7 and 5.5-inch versions will be getting the sapphire glass display, contradicting previous rumours which reported it would only be launching on the larger 'phablet' version.

With the iPhone 6 just a few months away rumours have started hotting up surrounding the existence of Apple's iWatch.

Following the news that Apple has hired a luxury watch exec it appears as though the company is ramping up its focus on wearable technology ahead of what could be its first iWatch.
