‘Monty Python’ star Carol Cleveland is the latest celebrity being linked to the upcoming series of 'Strictly Come Dancing’.

The actress, who recently joined her ‘Monty Python’ co-stars on stage at their reunion shows, is apparently confident that she’ll do well on the show.

A source tells The Sun: “Carol is confident she’ll be able to give it a go and not just be another old duffer.”

If Carol does sign on the dotted line and agree to get her dancing shoes on, she could be joining the likes of Mark Wright, ‘Masterchef’ judge Gregg Wallace and Caroline Flack, who are also rumoured to be taking part.

One person who won’t be donning sequins and learning the foxtrot is Radio 1 DJ Greg James, who - despite previously accepting an offer - has decided not to take part.

This year’s ‘Strictly’ will be the first year without Bruce Forsyth, who announced his retirement from the show earlier this year.

Another change has seen pro dancer James Jordan dropped, and he’s definitely not too happy with the situation.
