David Walliams has shared his hopes for this year’s series of ‘X Factor’, revealing that he’d love to join Simon Cowell for the judges’ houses round.

Sorry David, but given your track record on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, we can’t see this happening.

Speaking to The Sun, David revealed that he’d love to help his fellow ‘BGT’ judge Simon out on this year’s series of ‘X Factor’.

“I really want to be Simon’s helper at his judges’ home in Barbados,” David told the paper.

The funnyman has even planned the perfect grand entrance, although sadly, Simon apparently isn’t too keen.

“I told him I’d come out of his closet but he said no,” David added.

Quite frankly, we’re not surprised Si doesn’t want David’s help on ‘X Factor’. We still haven’t forgiven him for that golden buzzer either.

This year’s ‘X Factor’ sees Simon and Cheryl Cole return to the panel, where they are joined by Louis Walsh and newcomer Mel B.

The show is apparently being snubbed by former judge Nicole Scherzinger, who is planning to perform her new music on BBC rival ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ instead.

Cheryl's star turn on the judging panel comes after a four year break, and it’s been revealed that she’ll be referred to as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, following her secret wedding to boyfriend of three months Jean-Bernard.
