FIFA (the video game, not the dodgy governing body) has a style and aesthetic all of its own. From the classic isometric camera view, to the Martin Tyler commentary, floating player icons and generic celebrations, the whole game is steeped in nostalgia and iconography.
There have also been about 150 FIFA games at this point.
So when these heroic part-timers (who not coincidentally work for EA) decided to turn their kickabout in a full recreation of the game, there was no shortage of material.
The result is a thing of beauty, style and overt obsession.
