Kim Kardashian Sets Wedding Day Rumours Straight

Kim Kardashian revealed more details about the day she married Kanye West during her appearance on US chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday night.

Turns out, this wedding was even more extravagant than we thought.

The 33-year-old reality star confirmed that the couple did indeed sit at an engraved marble table during the reception.

"We had this long table that everyone was eating at, and instead of having place cards we engraved everyone's name in this marble table," she said.

"He [Kanye] explained to everyone that we engraved the names because everyone is engraved in our hearts, and everyone that was there was so special to us."

The names of 150 guests engraved into a marble table? So far, so Hollywood.

Unfortunately, one of the guests was a no-show and that person's name had to be covered up with white paint.

While she refused to "out" said guest, we've got a few suspicions around who it might have been.

On the matter of Kanye's big speech (rumour has it Yeezus only spoke about himself) Kim cleared things up by saying:

"It wasn't 45 minutes. It was about 20 minutes. It wasn't about himself; it was about us and everyone that was there."

But Kanye's spin on the speech was a little different. In an interview with GQ magazine he said:

"What I talked about the idea of celebrity, and celebrities being treated like blacks were in the '60s, having no rights, and the fact that people can slander your name. I said that in the toast.

"And I had to say this in a position where I, from the art world, am marrying Kim. And how we're going to fight to raise the respect level for celebrities so that my daughter can live a more normal life. She didn't choose to be a celebrity. But she is. So I'm going to fight to make sure she has a better life."
