Juan Cuadrado, heavily linked with a move to Manchester United, moved a step closer to leaving Fiorentina after the club confirmed the arrival of winger Marko Marin on loan.

Winger Marin has arrived in Florence from Chelsea, presumably as a replacement for Cuadrado, with Barcelona also interested in the Colombian.
"I met with Juan today, and he asked me if he could leave. I asked him, 'Stay one more year', but I’m not optimistic,” Fiorentina president Andrea Della told Sport Mediaset.

"Faced with an important offer, the boy wants to leave. We’ll give ourselves time until the end of August, but even without him we’ll be ultra-competitive."
La Viola value Cuadrado, who joined the club in 2012, at around £36 million with less than three weeks to go until the transfer window closes.
Cuadrado impressed at the World Cup as he started in all five of Colombia's games, scoring a penalty in the 4-1 rout of Japan.
The 26-year-old right-wing back would ease into Louis van Gaal's 3-5-2 system at United, with right-back Rafael da Silva's future in doubt and the maligned Antonio Valencia currently out injured.
United dealt with Fiorentina during David Moyes' brief reign when midfielder Anderson was loaned to the club in January, however the Brazilian failed to make an impact in Italy.
