Gareth Bale is refusing to rein in his ambitions at Real Madrid and says the club are targeting a six-trophy season.

The Welshman, back in his hometown of Cardiff for the Uefa Super Cup final against Sevilla, endeared himself to the Real following with winning goals the Copa del Rey and Champions League finals against rivals Barcelona and Atlético Madrid last season.

As well as the Super Cup, Real face a two-legged Supercopa tie with league champions Atlético this month, the Club World Cup in Morocco in December, as well as La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Champions League obligations this campaign.

Bale could claim his third trophy with Real in Cardiff on Tuesday night

The arrivals of World Cup top scorer James Rodríguez and Toni Kroos for a combined £83 million have bolstered the European champions, and Bale wants to quadruple his medal haul in the space of a year.

"Every season we want to win every trophy we're in for," said Bale, speaking during Real's pre-match press conference. "We will be trying our best to win the Champions League and the Spanish League again.

"It's great to be back home, but the most important thing is to win the game and the cup. We need to focus on that and not on me playing in my home town.

"It was a great season last year winning trophies, but the most important thing now is to win the Super Cup, and it doesn't matter who scores the winning goal."
