Still fresh from November's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show catwalk in New York, Adriana Lima landed in London town this week becoming the first Angel to ever visit the UK.
Naturally, she's here to promote that super sexy Victoria's Secret Holiday Collection so we whipped across to meet the 32 year-old Brazilian beauty. Face-to-face, oh God.
Here's five things of note that happen when you find yourself gawping into the face of someone like Adriana Lima.
The things that will make you fall in love, the things that will make you want to kill yourself, the things that an actual angel says in real life...
1. The ponytail. Seeing Adriana for the first time in person means getting full view of her immaculate hair, jet black and slicked back to perfection. It's the glossiest thing you've ever seen - very dressage prize-winning pony meets Angel Barbie (respectfully).
2. The arms. You'll want arms like these, you'll want them so much they'll be on your mind a lot - maybe for the rest of your life. The lady works out, that's a given, but she's slim and toned, not scrawny. Basically these are arms as God - and Tracy Anderson - intended them to be.
3. "What's a Christmas jumper?" Yes, these words were uttered. The craze is yet to reach the VS fleet of Angels, and you feel terribly gauche for even uttering the word "jumper". Of course Angels don't wear jumpers. In saying that, Lima says she'd be down with a Christmas onesie or a good ol' set of flannel pjs. Only thing is it kind of clashes with her holiday plans: "I'll be in Miami, wearing my bikini!"
4. You'll find out what Christmas means to an angel. Christmas for Lima is about gifts (she draws my attention to the VS Dream Angel Demi bra more than once, the "romantic" fragrance too). Family and food are a big deal, though she confesses her mum does the cooking.
5. You'll leave wanting an ankle tattoo. Adriana has a tribal design and star around her left foot, which, teamed with killer stilettos looks just incredible. Does it look as good on a mere mortal? I'll report back when the tattooist is all finished here.
The glowy complexion, the perfectly lined eyes, the scarlet nail polish, the nude lip and those pearly whites - Jesus. She. Is. Just. Beautiful.
