A photograph of Hollywood actress Kate Hudson was shockingly used without her permission to advertise an American abortion clinic.
An image of the Almost Famous star appeared a few seconds into a YouTube video advertising the Orlando Women's Center in Florida.
It was reportedly followed by pictures of a doctor and a discount coupon offer.
The center's website bills the facility as specialists in 'late term abortion'.
Representatives for Kate - herself a mum of two - said that no permission had been sought or given for her image to be used.
In an email to the Orlando based Local 6 news station, her publicist Brad Cafarelli wrote: "I can confirm that this use is unauthorized and we had no knowledge of it."
The Sun reports that the abortion clinic's owner, Dr James Pendergraft, has now removed the picture of Kate from the advert.
