Anne Hathaway Does Bright Orange And Purple Colour Block At Rio 2 Premiere. Fab Or Fail?

Anne Hathaway oozed a taste of the exotic at the Rio 2 premiere at Fontainebleau Miami Beach this weekend in a bright-as-you-like colour block orange and purple dress.

Did you she look good in it? Yes. Does it flatter her figure? Absolutely. Do we love it? Hmmm, we're not sure. Will we be rushing out to buy it (if we could afford it?). No.

But Anne was certainly head-turning in her two-tone ruffled frock by Roksanda Ilincic.

And the daring actress even threw mismatched shoes into the mix, adding clashing lilac peep-toes into the mauve and citrus combo.

Her alabaster skin looked flawless and she also added pink lips for another pop of colour.

There appeared to be a real party atmosphere at the Brazilian-themed bash, with Anne getting into the groove as the scene gave a nod to the Rio festival.

Rio 2 follows the story of Blu, Jewel (played by Anne) and their three kids after they're hurtled from Rio de Janeiro to the wilds of the Amazon. As Blu tries to fit in, he goes beak-to-beak with the vengeful Nigel, and meets the most fearsome adversary of all: his father-in-law.

Other co-stars partying at the premiere included Jamie Foxx, Kristin Chenoweth, and Andy Garcia.

But it was Anne who really followed the exotic dress code, and we have to give her props for pulling off such a strong look with pure confidence and style.
