Autumn/Winter 2013 Hair Trend: The Anti-Blowdry (Or The Easiest Style Ever)

Autumn/Winter 2013 Hair Trend: The Anti-Blowdry (Or The Easiest Style Ever)

If the heroine chic beehive or wet-look styles just aren't your thing, here's a hair trend that's hard not to like. Why?

1. It's super easy to do.

2. It makes you look effortlessly cool.

3. It works on any hair length.

The trend in question? The anti-blowdry aka real girl hair aka the easiest style ever. At Isabel Marant's Autumn/Winter 2013 show, makeup was kept to a minimum and hair was left loose worn with a not-too-straight centre-parting.

Similar styles were seen on the Burberry catwalk, where longer hair was tucked into coats and knitwear in a nonchalant kind of way.

However - although this trend doesn't require much effort, it doesn't look messy or unkempt. The hair at the shows above still looked sleek and glossy. In fact, glossy locks were a big hit everywhere throughout fashion month. (Note - no frizz!)

That's where these brilliant gloss-boosting products come in. Adding your favourite serum or oil to towel-dried hair can work wonders for getting this perfectly unpolished style, without losing shine.

Here's our pick of the best products to style hair with if you're ditching the blow dry:
