B. Balenciaga: The Perfume Inspired By Paris

Wouldn't it be great if you could wear a fragrance that instantly made you dream of Paris and all its impeccably chic style?

Trust Balenciaga, one of France's most famous fashion houses, to do just that with the latest scent, brought to you by the brand's creative director Alexander Wang.

B. Balenciaga is Wang's first ever perfume for the brand and according to WWD, it's been in the pipeline since he took the role in December 2012.

"It took a lot of soul-searching, but I really wanted to do something quite pure, as I see it as a step forward for the house," Wang said in a statement.

"It was exciting working on the scent and going to the essence of the brand, to its DNA, and to also combine that with my vision. I didn't want to base this project too much on the past, but also wanted it to be iconic to the brand. I want it to stand the test of time."

Although it's not due to go on sale until October 2014, there are two things we can expect from the B. perfume.

The first is a fresh, green scent with hints of lily of the valley and iris. The second thing to note is the bottle - the frosted glass bottle is inspired by the floors in the original Balenciaga Paris store and is sure to outshine any other fragrance in your bedroom.
