BAFTA TV Awards 2014: All The Red Carpet Pictures

Just when you think every inch of red carpet in Europe must surely be in Cannes, the Arqiva BAFTA Television Awards 2014 sneaks up on you with some truly inspired award season fashion.

The event which took place at the Theatre Royal in London honoured the very best productions and people in British telly and there was barely a bum look from anyone there.

The best dress in our opinion? Ophelia Lovibond's WilliamVintage floor-length, 1950s-style rose number was beautifully cut and romantic, while Mary Berry in colour-blocked monochrome was perfection.

As we always say at MyDaily, if in doubt about what's truly modern but classic, turn to the Great British Bake Off host.

Meanwhile, in terms of tuxedos, Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul's was particularly dashing, as was Fargo star's Martin Freeman's. Are sunglasses ever really a good idea on the red carpet though?

Well, the jury will always be out on that question - unless you're Helena Bonham Carter, who's worked the cutest, sparkliest cat-eye pair.

Our favourite pair so far has got to be Strictly Come Dancing co-presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman. Seriously, more girls need to hit the red carpet together.

Best beauty of the night goes to ex-Made In Chelsea star Millie Mackintosh, who spent the night with husband Professor Green looking super glam. Fact: a summer plum lip teamed with the most luminous skin is just perfection.
