Two rival soap stars who have just been granted a quickie divorce are now preparing to square up in a battle over child support.

Coronation Street star Kym Marsh and (now ex) husband Jamie Lomas were divorced in 10 seconds on Friday – a move which was said to have thrilled the mum-of-three.

But it's now being reported that the 37-year-old is preparing to go to court with her EastEnders' ex over unpaid child support for their two-year-old daughter Polly.

Friends claim the actress – best known for her role as Michelle Connor in rival soap Coronation Street – hasn't received a penny from her ex-husband since their acrimonious split last October.

A friend told the Sun on Sunday: "Jamie hasn't helped pay for her in the three months since they split.

"She's asked him for money twice and he's basically told her to get lost. Her solicitor has got involved.

"She isn't paid as much as people think – and definitely not as much as Jamie."

So far, Kym's representatives have neither confirmed nor denied the reports.

The row comes as Jamie, 33, enjoys a sunshine break in Los Angeles with model Chloe Peers.

Kym's divorce from Jamie was legally dissolved in less than one minute at 10.50am on Friday morning.

Proceedings were carried out by district judge Graham Stuart, alongside 36 other couples, with neither the Coronation Street actress nor the EastEnders star present at the hearing.

Shortly after the divorce was confirmed, Kym, 37, took to Twitter to declare that she had spent 'THE best morning' with daughter Polly, writing: "I have literally had THE best morning with my poll. Looking forward to mummy and Polly shopping now!"

Twice-married Kym initiated divorce proceedings against Jamie in October, citing 'unreasonable behaviour'.
