Getting an eye-popping look can be a challenge, but the experts at Yves Saint Laurent have stepped in to show us exactly how to make your eyes stand out and look big and beautiful.
Frederic Letailleur, YSL's European makeup artist, takes us through the steps in the brand's online beauty school...
Here are Frederic's top tips for achieving the doe-eyed look:
1. Prepare the eye with Frederic's favourite YSL product Touche Eclat (or a similar concealer-style product) and blend with a soft makeup brush.
2. Use a soft eyebrow pencil on the top and lower lid of the eye and blend upwards. Avoid dark pencils as this can make your eyes look smaller. (Save the black kohl for this cat-eye look).
3. Use a light brown eyeshadow to open up the eye, concentrating on the outer side of the lid to make your eyes look even bigger.
4. Finish the look with mascara to lengthen the appearance of your lashes.
