Berkhamsted Tourist Map Mocked On Social Media For Its Resemblance To A Penis

'It Does Look Like A Willy'

The larder of innocent, functional things which resemble human genitalia is ever growing.

Take this tourist map of a Hertfordshire town, which is enjoying a flurry of publicity thanks to the fact it is shaped rather like a penis.

Commissioned by the Canal and River Trust, the colourful diagram guides visitors around Berkhamsted and doubles as fodder for dick jokes on social media.

A spokesman for the trust said the shape of the map had not been noticed until it was pointed out by members of the public.

He told the BBC: “This is one of about 100 maps we’ve been promoting.

“You could accuse us of being a bit naïve but canals are long, straight things, and when you draw a map it tends to be that sort of shape.”

A further rogue penis appeared via Google Earth last year in the guise of a Merseyside estate, with resident Carl Hodge admitting: “You can’t argue because it really does look like just a man’s cock and balls.”
