We'll never cease to wonder how Blake Lively looks so darn good at every turn, and while we're hoping we might learn a thing or two via her new lifestyle site, Preserve, in the mean time she's opened up to Vogue.
The former Gossip Girl is the August cover girl for their Age Issue. And she looks totally sizzling in her outdoorsy shoot, modelling shearling jackets, fringed skirts and crisp white blouses.
And Preserve was indeed one of the hot topics, though she insists about the soon-to-be-launched site: "It's not about me. And it's not about watching my journey of learning how-to, it's about me sharing that with you so we all sort of learn together."
She was also keen to talk about the other great love of her life - hubby Ryan Reynolds, who apparently is heavily involved in the website's content: "He's a part of it because everything we do in life we do together. If I'm working on a movie, he helps me with my character; I do the same with him.
"He's a beautiful writer - he's written a lot of stuff for us. And he's got a great barometer and he knows me, so he will tell me if it's not as good as it can be."
And she also revealed that while the pair seem picture-perfect, even their wedding day suffered a few hitches, including a few burns to her dress, during a dancing session to pal Florence Welch's performance. She explained: "They brought out these sparklers, and I'm watching her sing. I look down and my wedding dress has a big burn mark from one of the sparklers. Right on the front! And it was just so heartbreaking to me."
Though of course, Ryan was on hand to provide a silver lining, telling her: "'You'll always remember that moment with Florence [Welch] singing and the sparklers. You have that forever, right there, preserved.' Now that's my favourite part of the dress."
Is this where the sentiment for Preserve came from, we wonder?
