Carmen Electra Gives Us A Lesson In How Not To Do Cut-Outs At Latin Grammy Awards

When it comes to the cut-out fashion trend, less is definitely more. Enter Carmen Electra, who didn't follow this rule of thumb.

The American actress, singer, dancer (and let's not go forgetting glamour model) posed during a photocall at The 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards in Las Vegas yesterday. The look? She proved that too much cut-out just doesn't say I'm 41 years old now, and I'm sophisticated with it.

Carmen opted for a black floor-length gown with plunging neckline cut-outs and long sequinned sleeves. There was also serious thigh-high, side split detailing and oh - the dress was backless too.

It may have been the slicked-back-to-within-an-inch-of-its-life high ponytail, the long black lashes and the jet black acrylic nails that moved this look into definite faux pas territory.

On the plus, it is the season to don a sparkly, sequin or two.

You know what kind of sequin ensemble never fails? A vintage one. Shop these glitzy finds in our gallery below...
