Cheryl Cole is back and she's looking fiercer than ever.
The former Girls Aloud member and X Factor judge is the stunning cover girl of Elle magazine's August issue.
In a full-length shot, Cheryl oozes glamour in a leopard-print jacket and cropped trousers. The shoot features looks from the likes of DSquared2, Philosophy and Manolo Blahnik
Not only is this cover (her third with the magazine) Cheryl's best yet, it is also the most revealing interview with the star.
After a messy divorce with former husband Ashley Cole, followed by a close-shave with malaria and her all too public sacking from the US X Factor, the popular Geordie has certainly had it tough.
She revealed to Elle, "It only hit me at the beginning of 2013 that I'd completely lost myself. I'd look in the mirror and think: "Who the hell is she?".
Having previously battled with depression, it is perhaps unsurprising that Cheryl also told Elle that these events led to her feeling like she'd had a nervous breakdown, stating:
"I had to stop, get out of the life I'd been living and find myself again. The consequences if I didn't were just too frightening."
Thankfully, Cheryl assures us she's back to top form. Speaking frankly to Elle, she said "None of what I've been through broke me. It actually taught me everything I'm going to need for the rest of my life. I love feeling that I'm strong because I have good women at my side. And I don't give a f*ck what people think any more."
The full interview will appear in Elle's August issue, available on newsstands now.
