Cheryl Cole Is Gorgeous Despite The Wind In Black Mullet Dress At Foxcatcher Premiere In Cannes

Cheryl Cole proved that wind is just another accessory as she hit the Cannes Film Festival 2014 red carpet at the 'Foxcatcher' premiere on Monday evening.

The petite brunette didn't let the blustery South of France weather get in the way of her looking drop-dead flawless in a black strapless mullet-hem gown and covetable Gianvito Rossi heels.

If anything she channelled her inner Marilyn Monroe and used the wind to her sartorial advantage. Well played Chezza.

The 30-year-old teamed her dress with simple jewellery and wore hair hair in a vintage Hollywood-style up do - probably a wise choice considering the rather unpredictable weather.

Her beauty look? Like her accessories, simple yet effective.

Cheryl - who earned her spot on the most stylish red carpet of the summer acting as spokesperson for beauty brand L'Oreal - wasn't the only star almost blown off their feet.

The singer was joined on the red carpet by the stars of the film, including Channing Tatum, Steve Carrell and Mark Ruffalo as well as Jessica Chastain and fellow L'Oral poster girl Eva Longoria.

While Cheryl managed to avoid any tricky wardrobe malfunctions it was a much closer call for Zero Dark Thirty leading lady Jessica, who very narrowly avoided flashing her undies. Now that could have been awks.
