A primary school classroom assistant who moonlights as a lingerie model has been allowed to return to work after she was suspended over racy photos.
Kaitlin Pearson, 23, was suspended with pay on Friday after partially nude shots were sent anonymously to the school and to the Sentinel & Enterprise newspaper with a note saying: "Can you believe that this girl was hired to work with special education children in the Fitchburg schools?!!"
Miss Pearson was suspended on Friday but reinstated on Tuesday after an investigation by South Street Elementary School in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
A statement from the school read: "We are confident that she will bring the same level of commitment to her job and her students that she always has."
On her Model Mayhem page, Miss Pearson describes herself as 'energetic, creative, feisty' and 'passionate about modelling'.
She adds that she does not do full nudes and only works with photographers she trusts. Some images show her posing in bikinis or sportswear at sports events, and she has appeared in multiple amateur shoots, including for ModelsMania magazine.
A parent at the school said: "She probably leaves her work at work and her modelling career separate from her teaching career."
However, another blasted her nude modelling saying: "You're trying to be a role model for the kids."
Miss Pearson's mum, Chuck Pearson, insisted that her daughter should not be fired for the photos. She said: "That's her private life. She's 23. She's a grown up woman."
