Bad news for all of those hoping Prince Harry would be getting down on one knee this Christmas and asking girlfriend Cressida Bonas to marry him.
Contrary to royal rumours 24-year-old Cressy will not be accompanying the Prince when he joins the rest of the royal family at Sandringham for Xmas.
She won't even be there for the traditional Boxing Day shoot on the Norfolk estate. "Cressida will be with her family for Christmas," a pal told the Telegraph, with a courtier adding: "His Royal Highness knows that it would not be appropriate for Miss Bonas to join the Royal family for Christmas until they are a married couple."
According to reports Cressida has overcome her fears about marrying into the royal family, and rumour has it PH is THIS close to popping the question.
However, last month, Cressy's half-brother, Jacobi Anstruther-Gough-Calthorpe (what a name!), said, he worried about how she would cope with the attention.
"She's not a tough cookie at all," he told the paper. 'She's a very sensitive, sweet girl, all my family are - they're incredible. It's challenging, you can't deny it. It's not something that is easy for anyone dating a royal or marrying into the family."
We're guessing it's something you learn to cope with at princess boot camp.
