Eek. That awkward moment when a TV star is caught shoplifting in Boots. The X Factor alumni Tamera Foster has profusely apologised after being held by security guards for stealing makeup a month after her first audition on the show.
Tamera was caught with two other girls at the store in Gravesend, Kent, on 24 July.
A source told the Mirror: "She is really remorseful for what she has done and has said sorry to everyone on the show for letting them down. She is distraught."
According to the Scottish Daily Record, Kent police said the Boots store decided to deal with Tamera through "restorative justice", meaning a manager would ask why the theft occurred, and call for an apology, rather than press charges.
Tamera will also have to pay for the cost of the good stolen.
On a positive note, the young star is wowing the judges on the show, and now says she has "done a lot of growing up".
