Duchess Kate WOWS In Jenny Packham Gown For Kensington Palace Gala

A day after his christening, the Duchess of Cambridge left little Prince George tucked up in bed - so she could glam up for a gala held at the Kensington Palace State Apartments (meaning she didn't have to go very far from home, living at apartment 1A).

The gala dinner was in aid of the charity Action on Addiction and was hosted by the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Philanthropic Initiatives - and Kate is a patron of both groups.

And, as if we needed it, Kate proved she was back to her pre-baby best in the midnight-blue tulle gown from one of her favourite designers, Jenny Packham.

On the runway, the dress was worn off the shoulders, but Kate kept it super-chic and kept covered up.

Her signature tumbling locks were worn down and wavy, and showed off a russet hue.

This was one of Kate's first glamorous public engagements since welcoming George - and, as Brucie would say, didn't she do well?
