Royal biographer Katie Nicholl is launching her new book Kate: The Future Queen and the BIG reveal? Kate and Wills met way before rubbing shoulders at St Andrews University back in 2001. Who knew?
When researching the royal couple for her book, Nicholl spoke to school friends of Kate's to get all the gossip on their history.
In an interview with ABC News, Nicoll shared her research. "She didn't meet him at St. Andrews. She met him before she got there...through some of her friends", Kate's pals confirmed to Nicoll. "The friends knew Prince William and Prince Harry".
Ah ha - so that explains why Kate opted for a year out before uni so that she could start at the same time as Wills! They were ALREADY smitten. We knew it.
