Duke And Duchess Of Cambridge Visit Royal British Legion Volunteers For Poppy Day 2013

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise visit to Kensington High Street tube station on Thursday to meet the Royal British Legion's Poppy Day staff and volunteers (And yes, Barbara Windsor was also there).

Duchess Kate wrapped up in a berry coloured coat from L.K. Bennett as she listened to a volunteer serenade her on the guitar.

After chatting to the staff, the Duke and Duchess enjoyed a ride on a Routemaster with a few TV personalities. We never thought we'd see the day that Kate sat next to Barbara Windsor on a bus, but here's proof that it actually happened...

Prince William was smartly dressed for the occasion in a navy suit and striped tie. (Unfortunately he missed out on the Eastenders chat.)
