Well this is one type of kick you don't expect a mum-to-be to be bragging about: kickboxing moves!

Heavily-pregnant martial arts champion Crystal Green is not letting her baby bump get in the way of her strenuous fitness regime, and is keeping up with her Muay Thai kickboxing sessions.

The 31-year-old is due to give birth in the next four weeks, after having found out she was pregnant back in March while in training for a bikini contest.

Although she has now stopped entering actual combat competitions, she has continued to enjoy her 'Foxy & Fierce' workouts.

The LA-based kicking queen told Metro that her doctor had given her the go-ahead to keep up her fitness routine throughout her 'happy accident' pregnancy.

"My doctor is a big advocate for fitness during pregnancy. He feels the more you can do, the better," she said. "I had to step back from my extreme core class because it's a lot of abdominal exercises and I developed a slight strain. I stopped teaching that class and the pain went away."

Blimey. It's a step (or kick) up from the swimming and gentle strolls in the park we're usually told to try during pregnancy, isn't it?
