Kristen Stewart has been confirmed as the new face of Chanel for 2014.
The 23 year-old actress caught Karl Lagerfeld's eye way back in January 2012 and on Tuesday night, the American beauty took centre stage at Chanel's 'Metiers d'Art' show at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas.
The look was signature Stewart: statement-making and standout. Naturally, she was dressed in Spring/Summer 2014 Chanel and wore a long-sleeved, cream cropped top with high-waisted leather trousers, in orange. The nude heels and charcoal grey sweater tied around her waist proved that this girl can do Texas-cool and Parisian-chic. At the same time.
And that's not all. According toJustJared,Stewart will front the 2013/14 Métiers d'Art Paris-Dallas collection next year and will be appearing in glossy-gorgeous campaigns shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself.
Last night's fashion hoedown was a big deal with the likes of Anna Wintour, Poppy Delevinge, Dakota Fanning and Derek Blasberg (to a name few) who soaked up that Texan vibe.
