Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken out about her split from Chris Martin (which we are still very sad about).
The actress took to lifestyle newsletter Goop to write about about some chicken recipes. But in the introduction to the piece she also thanked fans for their support following the couples announcement of their "Conscious Uncoupling".
In the short but sweet message to fans, Gwynie said: "P.S CM and I in deep gratitude for the support of so many."
The couple, who are parents to Apple, nine, and Moses, seven, announced their split earlier this week.
But according to Us Weekly, Gwynie's mum Blythe Danner is having a hard time coming to terms with the news.
A source said "[She's] really upset. She loves Chris. She begged Gwyneth not to end it, that he's a good man.
"But Gwyneth had to do what she felt was best. They really tried to make it work.
"You could tell something was wrong, though, over the last few months. You could see a sadness in each of their eyes."
The couple's original statement said: "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate.
"We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been."
