H&Amp;M Wins The MyDaily UKFT Designer Collaboration Award

Congratulations to H&M! The high-street brand has been voted winner of the MyDaily UK Fashion & Textile Designer Collaboration Award for its brilliant collection with Isabel Marant.

MyDaily editor Sara McCorquodale presented brand representatives Holly Bridges and Zelta Denham with the prestigious prize at the Natwest UKFT Fashion & Textile Awards, held in East London's Tobacco Dock.

After the sell-out success of the collaboration in autumn 2013, the collection beat four other exceptional designer collaborations in the category.

Eudon Choi for River Island Design Forum, Liberty X Nike, Meadham Kirchhoff for Topshop and Oscar de la Renta for The Outnet were also shortlisted for the award.

However, as H&M received the most votes from MyDaily readers, there's no doubt this was the sought-after collaboration of last year.

"We're so pleased!" Bridges told MyDaily backstage at the awards. "We're really happy. It was an amazing collection to work with. We're in our tenth year of designer collaborations now and it's nice that the customers are still wanting more and that we can surprise them each time."

How did H&M and MyDaily celebrate? With champagne, of course!

Other UKFT winners included House of Holland, who received the Designer Business Award and the wonderful Dame Margaret Barbour, who was honoured with the Outstanding Achievement Award after 120 years in the coat-making business.
