Has The Duchess Of Cambridge Fired Her Hairdresser?

Has The Duchess Of Cambridge Fired Her Hairdresser?

She's the champion of 10 denier tights, patent nude stilettos and recycling her clothes, but the Duchess of Cambridge is also famous for her always perfect, always glossy hair.

However, Kate's signature tousled tresses might be about to change. Why?

The Telegraph has reported that the Duchess and her hairdresser James Pryce have parted ways.

Pryce was responsible for Kate's wedding hairstyle and travelled with her on her tour of America in June 2011. He took the role seriously too - Pryce left his position at Richard Ward's Chelsea salon to look after his royal client.

However, Pryce's colleague has confirmed that he is no longer working with Kate.

"Richard Ward still cuts Kate's hair and she has her colour done at the salon," the colleague told Mandrake.

"Plus, she has her stylist, Amanda Cook Tucker, who blow dries her hair for events, but James has really been pushed out."

Does this news mean that Kate's curls are thing of the past? Perhaps she'll go for the chop? Something tells us it might take more than a new hairdresser to persuade her to get rid of her long locks...
