Former Coronation Street actress Helen Flanagan was so terrified by the thought of being pale she was losing sleep and had to have an "emergency" spray tan at 1.30 in the morning! What the ef?
Helen was due to start filming new show Celebrity Super Spa (which will prob win something awesome like a TV Quick Award) the next day and convinced herself she'd look like a ghost alongside the locals she'd be treating in Liverpool.
A source apparently told The Sun, "Helen is very self-conscious. She was in her hotel room and wanted to get a good night's sleep before filming her new show the next day.
"But she looked in the mirror and convinced herself she looked really pasty. From that point on she couldn't sleep. Finally her friend got hold of a girl called Nicole Francis - but by the time she got to the hotel it was 1.30am." Flippin' heck.
"But that didn't matter to Helen," the insider added. "They did the tanning session and she went straight to bed knowing she'd be looking her best the next morning."
