How To Make The Bee's Knees Cocktail (It's Good For Sore Throats)

The clever people at 214 Bermondsey, the underground gin bar in London, have come up with a cocktail that might actually be good for us. Hurrah!

If you're feeling under the weather with a cold or sore throat, the guys at 214 recommend sipping on the Bee's Knees.

"Its a really great and simple cocktail that's ideal for those with a sore throat due to its inclusion of honey syrup," they told us.

And if you can't face leaving the comfort of your sofa, this is super easy to make at home.

Here's what you'll need:

50ml London Dry Gin (something citrusy and fresh like Tanqueray 10)

25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice

25ml honey syrup

You'll need to:

- Make your honey syrup by combining 2.5 parts honey to 1 part boiling water.

- Leave it to settle then mix with the lemon juice and gin.

- Shake hard with with ice.

- Double strain into a cocktail glass and enjoy immediately.
