This is the heart-stopping moment a policeman saved a heavily pregnant woman from jumping to her death.
The police officer rescued the mum-to-be - who is eight months pregnant with twins - by pulling her in through a window after she tried to commit suicide by jumping from the 9th floor of a building in China.
Passers-by called emergency services, and as firefighters set up an air cushion below, police tried to talk the woman down after she climbed out onto a narrow ledge.
Negotiations continued for three hours, and as the woman became distressed and started shivering violently from the cold, the police decided they couldn't wait any longer.
One of the officers lunged from the window and grabbed hold of the struggling woman. She was then forcibly dragged back into the building before being tied to a stretcher and taken to hospital.
According to reports the woman decided to commit suicide after her boyfriend, and the father of her unborn children, went back on a promise to marry her and stopped answering her phone calls.
