The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, isn't denying those pregnancy rumours in a clever PR bid to keep our minds off those bum pictures published online in Germany, reports say.
The 32-year-old royal and her crack team of PRs are allegedly happy to float those "Kate Middleton is pregnant with twin girls" stories without comment to divert our attention away from her rear end -and her trip to the controversial "anti-gay" Dorchester Hotel last month.
"One month ago, Kate Middleton and Prince William were riding on the positive buzz from their tour, mostly thanks to Prince George," says gossip site Celeb Dirty Laundry.
"But Kate Middleton's bare bum and the anti-gay Dorchester Hotel scandals have sadly overtaken all that positive buzz, which means the royals are now desperate for some PR control."
According to recent reports the duke and duchess are "thrilled" to be expecting not one but two future princesses.
"Kate has always wanted a daughter, and she's talked about it so much that William did too," a source reportedly told US OK! magazine.
"Plus, she thinks George having sisters will be tremendously good for his character."
While this would be one of the greatest PR spins of our time, we can't help but wonder whether it's just another excuse for tabs to get "Kate Middleton pregnant" in a headline - because if we're honest that's what we really want to read.
There's no news like baby news and what's more there's no baby news like royal baby news!
