Karen Elson's Silver Slip Dress For Vintage Vanguard Launch Is Everything

Karen Elson hosted the Vintage Vanguard event for the Dress For Success charity in New York on Monday night. The sparkly soiree was the perfect occasion to wear a slinky silver number and the 35 year-old model and song-writer looked incredible.

Vintage Vanguard was created by Karen and writer and filmmaker Liz Goldwyn. It's Karen who brings in some of fashion's biggest names so that the vintage on sale at the Dress for Success benefit is all stop-you-in-your-tracks-beautiful.

Think designers like Marc Jacobs, Narciso Rodriguez, Zac Posen, Calvin Klein's Francisco Costa and Rodarte. Think fabulous.

Karen's hostess with the mostess look was effortlessly striking (she put that Brit model thing to work) and she was joined by guests such as Zac Posen, Lauren Santo Domingo and Derek Blasberg.

The benefit seeks to empower women through vintage fashion and it is Karen and Liz who make it such a storming success. They've got serious connections and Karen seals the deal with a killer onstage performance - guitar and all.
