Karlie Kloss looked like a total dream in this monochrome ensemble at the American Ballet Theatre 2014 Opening Night Spring Gala in New York City on Monday.
The 21-year-old American supermodel (how is she just 21, how?) put her perfect pins to work posing for photos at The Metropolitan Opera House and proved that when it comes to chic dressing, she's a natural.
The white cut-out, halter top (bare shoulders is the most flattering style this summer) tucked into a classic black mini skirt teamed with an oversized waist-belt looked simple yet completely elegant.
The black stilettos and mini envelope clutch bag along with the swept back updo were the perfect finishing touches for a ballet-going outfit.
Karlie shared this photo on Instagram of her and THE Valentino Clemente Ludovico Garavani during the evening saying:
"Made it back to NYC just in time for the @AmericanBalletTheatre opening night gala. Last Monday night at the #MetGala...and this Monday night at the #MetropolitanOpera ;) What a chic week!"
Oh to be a gal who moves in circles like these - Karlie rubbed shoulders with Coco Rocha, Anna Wintour, Emmy Rossum, Kelly Rolland and Selena Gomez. Though it has to be said, her look was the fairest of them all and proof in point - the monochrome trend is forever.
