Kate Middleton Bare Bottom Picture Is Published Online By German Tabloid Bild

A picture of the Duchess of Cambridge revealing her bare bottom has been published online by German tabloid newspaper Bild.

The image was taken during the royal couple's visit to the Blue Mountains during their tour of Australia in April. A gust of wind from a nearby helicopter blew up Kate's blue and white print Diane Von Furstenberg dress and exposed her behind.

Bild published the photo in a feature which also shows Kate suffering a similar sartorial problem on the royal tour of Canada in 2011.

The Huffington Post reports the picture comes with the caption, "Photos show our favourite Duchess Kate, 32, in the Australian Blue Mountains. The rotor blades of the royal helicopter swirl the air so that Kate's summer dress blew up – giving a clear view of her beautiful bum!"

The article headline states, "Clothes ban for Kate?"

Although the pictures have not been used by the British press, their publication in Germany is likely to raise more questions and concerns around the couple's privacy.

After topless photos of Kate were published by the French edition of Closer magazine in 2012, the couple said they had been "hugely saddened" by the media.

"This is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the paparazzi during Diana's life and the more upsetting to the duke and duchess for being so," Clarence House said at the time.

The royal family has yet to comment on Bild's use of these latest photographs.
