Kate Middleton Becomes Godmother To Her Best Friend's Baby Son

After giving birth to Prince George in July last year, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has taken parenthood in her stride. That's why she's been made godmother to her best friend's son.

Not only does she do yummy-mummy down to a tee (yes, that stunning scarlet Alexander McQueen dress) but she's also just become a godmother to her university friend's new baby.

Okay, so nothing really tops the future king's actual christening but that didn't stop Kate attending her a ceremony at St Barnabas Church in Mayland, Chelmsford. With Prince George and Prince William too.

Accepting this all-important, worldly, wise role is a big deal, but if you can grow up and actually whip out the line "Kate Middleton is my godmother" then you'll definitely go far in life.

Kate and Wills chose uni pal Oliver Baker to be George's godfather, so clearly keeping in with course mates from way back when counts.

All about the duchess and her flawless style? Let's take a look back at all the photos from Prince George's stunning christening...
