Kate Middleton Lands In New Zealand In Red Dress Coat And Princess Diana's Hat With Prince William And Prince George

The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, was a sight for sore eyes as she and Prince William landed in Wellington, New Zealand on the first day of a three-week royal tour of NZ and neighbouring Australia.

Kate was a true representative for the royals as she stepped off the plane in a red dress coat by British designer Catherine Walker, a matching pillbox hat belonging to Prince William's late mother Diana Princess of Wales and a diamond and platinum fern brooch borrowed from the Queen.

A Royal New Zealand Air Force jet had carried the family from OZ on the last three hours of their 30 hour journey from the UK, but thanks to the handiwork of her on-board hairdresser, Amanda Cook Tucker (who is being paid for by her father-in-law Prince Charles) the Duchess' infamous flowing locks looked salon-worthy, despite the miserable damp weather.

The young family looked windswept, but in good spirits as they made their way to meet their welcoming party.

While there's no doubt Kate was absolutely stunning, all eyes were on eight-month-old Prince George who was ridiculously adorable in a teeny tiny cream cardigan over a white shirt, matching shorts and teamed with soft leather shoes and socks.

Carried from the plane in his mother's arms with his father setting the pace in front, the youngest royal was on his very best behaviour.
