Kate Middleton Proves She's Just Who You Need In A Crisis

She should probably get her skirts weighted and could do with ditching those nude heels, but when it comes to helping others there's no denying Kate Middleton is a good egg.

The Duchess of Cambridge proved she truly is a woman of the people - and three years of royal life haven't changed her a jot - when a guest at Buckingham Palace fainted during a garden party this week.

It is unknown what caused the attendee to pass out at the bash celebrating Prince Philip's 93rd birthday, but it was Kate who halted her mingling and dashed to the fainter's side.

"Kate rushed to her aid immediately," a party guest revealed to the Daily Mail. "It was second nature to her. She didn't hesitate."

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Palace said: "A guest at Tuesday's garden party fainted and was offered a chair to sit in. The Duchess of Cambridge spoke to her to check she was OK."

Kate has had a busy week with the Prince's birthday celebrations and meeting the American Cup yachting team for brunch, where she revealed some rather exciting Prince George news.

The young royal was overheard telling guests her adorable 10-month-old has taken his first steps and is now toddling about independently. Can you imagine anything cuter?

Meanwhile, Kate, Prince William and Prince George are almost ready to settle into their new home Anmer Hall on Sandringham Estate after extensive redecoration led by the Duchess. Oh to be a fly on those walls...
