Kate Middleton Supports Prince William At The Order Of The Garter Ceremony

After a busy family day out at a charity polo match in Gloucestershire, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the Order of the Garter ceremony at St George's Chapel in Windsor on Monday afternoon.

The royal couple joined the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles and the Duke of York at the annual event which sees the Garter Knights dress up in velvet robes and hats with white plumes.

Duchess Kate wore another light aqua ensemble similar to the Alexander McQueen blazer and skirt outfit she showcased for the Trooping the Colour celebrations in London on Saturday.

Kate accessorised her latest blue outfit - this time by Christopher Kane - with a disc-shaped hat designed by Lock & Co, but it was her husband's headgear that clearly sparked a few giggles as they shared a carriage with Prince Charles.

Kate watched the Garter Day proceedings with Sophie Countess of Wessex, who opted for an ivory shift dress with feather detailing and an embellished pillbox-hat.

Apparently the two royal ladies have the same taste in footwear too...

This is just the start of a week of smart royal style. Don't miss the statement-making headwear later this week when the racing at Ascot gets underway on June 17.
