Kate Middleton Writes The Foreword For Book About RAF Wives

It was only a matter of time before the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, penned her first masterpiece.

OK, so she's easing her way into the literary world, but she has written the foreword for new book Living in the Slipstream: Life as an RAF Wife, a collection of short stories by real RAF wives.

Kate's contribution is completely credible and the royal gal is the wife of a royal serviceman herself - so the fit is pretty perfect. The book is set to be released this May and what's the bet this flies of the shelves?

As if all this wasn't exciting enough, all profits from the book are set go to the Royal Air Forces Association and RAF Benevolent Fund.
