Kerry Washington is a big time supporter of stand-out fashion.
Ruffles, fuss, detail and bold colourways are mainstays of the actress' wardrobe, on and off the red carpet. While we're all for statement dressing, Kerry's latest outfit is just be one step too far down the path of cray-cray for our liking.
For the Scandal season premiere in New York, the 36-year-old went to town with her outfit, obvs. There, amongst her cast mates, Kerry stood resplendent in a floor-length, oversized, shiny gingham ruffle shirt dress. And she added a white belt to it. AND it had one of those hula hoop things that brides wear to make their dress stick out in a 'here I am, don't I look amazing' sort of way.
Kerry slipped on a pair of white laced heels with the dress and kept her accessories simple (THANK GOD) with delicate silver earrings and matching bracelet finishing off the striking ensemble.
