We're getting more and more bummed out about our lack of invitation to the Kimye wedding by the day.
Topping their amazing chateau-set wedding brunch and Kim's lavish last supper, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had pulled out all the stops to host the pre-wedding party to end all pre-wedding parties at the Palace of Versailles.
The couple arrived in matching cleavage-baring designs by Maison Martin Margiela (a Kanye favourite). Kim had chosen a plunging white tuxedo dress with silk lapels and a thigh-high slit, while Kanye wore a camel suit and low-slung vest.
The cocktail party was held in the Hall of Mirrors, and among the guest list of 100 close friends and family, were designers Alexander Wang, Olivier Rousteing from Balmain and Giancarlo Giammetti, all rumoured to be wedding dress designers for Kim, and thereby leaving speculation wide open.
Giancarlo was clearly thrilled to spend a night with the Kardashian klan, as he shared a snap of the ladies of the family, captioned: "Keeping up with a really great family #thekardashians#wedding #versailles."
Lana Del Ray arrived to serenade guests, sporting a mullet-hem gold gown. She performed Kim's favourite song, and the tune which accompanied Kanye's proposal back in October 2013 - Young and Beautiful. Fireworks were reportedly set off outside the palace during the performance.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the guests were treated to 1,000 bottles of rosé champagne and given free reign to enjoy the palace. They also report that during a speech to their guests, the couple confirmed that the wedding ceremony would take place in Florence, Italy on 24 May.
