Kylie Minogue wowed crowds AND Twilight star Robert Pattinson at the Cannes Film Festival this week, when she took her piece of the spotlight to perform new single 'I Was Gonna Cancel' for TV show Le Grand Journal.
The pop star was gorgeous in a hot pink Hasan Hejazi shirt dress with her hair swept off her face in a classic up do, as she put on an impressive show for the audience.
And it seems R-Patz was SO impressed with the Aussie singer's rendition he greeted her with a cheeky little smooch. The 45-year-old - who celebrates her birthday next week - took time out of filming to pucker up for Edward, we mean Robert. Well you would, wouldn't you?
The pair's smooch comes after Rob confessed he's well and truly ready to hang up his vampire cloak.
"I couldn't do another Twilight movie," the heart-throb told reporters on Sunday. "No one thought it was going to be a big deal," he said of the film franchise, adding he's pretty fed up with living life in the public eye.
"I'm just trying to not be in stupid gossip magazine, basically, and I think the best way to do it is never be photographed ever," he told Page Six.
"As I get older, I just get more and more and more self-conscious about getting photographed. I don't know why. I've done it too many times and now I feel like everyone can see through me."
And despite being spotted in Cannes with his ex, Kristen Stewart, a source says it's time to leave that relationship behind him. "Rob is beyond ready to cut the cord with Kristen," the insider told Hollywood Life.
"They were definitely in love, but the relationship has run its course and he is ready to move on.
"He wishes her the best, but he's interested in being single and working and living his life - end of story."
