London Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2014: Topshop Unique

Topshop Unique's Autumn/Winter 2014 catwalk was all about preppy blues, crisp collars and fabulous oversized outwear. Yes mohair, yes faux fur, yes quilted puffa styles.

When it comes to anything Topshop, the expectation for wearable high-fashion streetwear is super-high, but that's because the brand knows exactly what girls want from their wardrobe.

This fleet of models included Sam Rollinson and Jourdan Dunn working some killer pieces: silk kimonos, boxy leather jackets, shearling gilets, suede thigh highs and tidy knitwear.

Here's a few need-to-knows fresh from the catwalk...

1. Shirt and jumper combos. That white collar reveal underneath a chunky/cashmere knit or dress is pure pretty, preppy genius.

2. Multi-texture. Work leather, fleecy/fur, patent and velvet into one killer look.

3. Thigh high boots. Because nothing is sexier.

4. Every shade of blue. Navy yes, but petrol and royal shades are just as statement making. Especially when worn all at once.

Swoon hard at all the looks from the show in our gallery below...
