Madonna and her eight year-old adopted son David Banda stood out from the crowd on the red carpet - quite a feat at the 2014 Grammy Awards.
The Queen of Pop made a splash with her black Gothic suit - complete with black hat, form-fitting coat and a cane. David Banda, on the other hand, went with a more timeless look: a black suit and tie set off with a fedora and spats.
The eight year-old, who was adopted from Malawi in 2008, was keen to stress his fashion credentials, answering "Yes, very well!" when presenter Ryan Seacrest asked if his mother followed his lead when it came to clothing.
The Vogue singer explained that David wanted them to look alike on the red carpet, so they both opted for tailored Ralph Lauren suits on the night - although with very different results...
